April kits are here!

I am so excited to show my new line of Junior Stitch kits

These kits are perfect for getting the next generation into cross-stitch.

Princess Parade contains enough Aida cloth and DMC floss to complete all four designs.  Also included is one pre-sewn Essential Dot pillow.  I picked four of my favorite characters, Snow White, Cinderella, Jasmine & Rapunzel.  Now I'm thinking I really need Belle and the Little Mermaid...... maybe there will be another one on the way.

 Monsters Ball is four whacky monsters in one kit.  Included is everything needed to complete all four stitcheries plus one pre-sewn Essential Dot pillow.

You can purchase our Essential Dot pillows on their own to add to your kit.

Just in time for Mother's Day is our new Mother & Friend pillow kit.  Contains pre-sewn pillow, 16ct aida cloth, DMC floss, button by JABC, and tapestry needle.

 Here are the two new pillow kits for this month are 471 Winter Typography (Pillow Kit) and 472 Valentine Typography (Pillow Kit)

These pillow kits include: pre-sewn pillow sham, DMC floss, tapestry needle and pattern. Pillow center is 16-ct aida.

But, wait......there's another option now available.  For the first time, Pine Mountain Designs will also be available as Linen Kits.

 and LK02 Valentine Typography (LINEN KIT) each include pattern and 32 count Belfast linen.

This week finished up my Mystery Monday for Pine Needles


And now I'm moving on to a new cross-stitch kit, Winter Typography.

Mystery Monday!

It's time for a good mystery....... A Winter Mystery that is. And like any good mystery there are clues.....

I have designed a winter themed quilt for my store Pine Needles and today was the debut of the first chapter of this chilling mystery.  A new chapter to this Winter tale will then be revealed every Monday thru December 17th when the mystery will be solved and the final stitches complete. 

I can't wait for you to see how this tale unfolds.....

Crown Jewels

CROWN JEWELS

Above is a snippet of one of my favorite quilts.  The picture doesn't do the dimension of the crowns justice but they seem to pop off the fabric.  Each crown is creating using a unique folded fabric technique, yup that means now triangles to sew - just fold and sew.  The quilt has a bit of ric-rac on each crown.  I just may bling one up a bit, so check back.....

Quilt Market!

I just debuted my first fabric line Happy Ever After at Fall International Quilt Market. It took a lot of late night and early morning sewing to get us ready, but oh so worth the work.
